Targeted, fast, and in and out in fifteen minutes.

Three injection options at Rai: B12 for energy and cellular function, Lipostat for metabolism support, and Vitamin D3 for the deficiency most adults don't realize they have. Available as single shots or pre-paid bundles that save up to twenty-eight percent per shot.

Faster than oral. Smaller than IV.

What Is a Vitamin Injection

A vitamin injection is a small intramuscular shot, typically into the upper arm or hip, that delivers a concentrated dose of a specific vitamin directly into your tissue. Absorption is faster and more complete than oral supplements, with effects often noticeable within hours rather than days.

Injections sit between oral supplements and IV therapy on the spectrum. They are quicker than a drip, more concentrated than a pill, and ideal for the vitamins your body has the hardest time absorbing through the gut. The visit takes about fifteen minutes, and the shot itself takes seconds.

Good To Know

A few honest notes about vitamin injections.

Vitamin injections are generally well tolerated. Most patients experience nothing more than a brief pinch and a small amount of redness or tenderness at the injection site, which resolves within twenty-four hours.

Vitamin and mineral therapies are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment of an underlying medical condition. If you have a chronic illness, are pregnant or nursing, or take prescription medications, your clinician will review whether each injection is appropriate for you and may recommend lab work first.

Some patients with allergies to cobalt (relevant for B12) or to particular B-complex preservatives may not be candidates. Your clinician will review your history at your first visit. Individual results vary.

Common Questions

What patients ask before their first injection.

A vitamin injection is a small intramuscular shot, typically into the upper arm or hip, that delivers a concentrated dose of a specific vitamin directly into your tissue. Absorption is faster and more complete than oral supplements, and effects are often noticeable within hours rather than days.
Most patients are in and out in fifteen minutes. The injection itself takes seconds, and the brief check-in covers your symptoms and goals before administration. The slowest part of the visit is usually the conversation, which most patients want.
Bundles are pre-paid packs of four, eight, or twelve injections of the same type. You pay once and use one shot per visit on your schedule. Bundles save up to twenty-eight percent per shot compared to single-visit pricing. They do not expire on a set schedule, but they do expire if not used within twelve months. Bundles are non-refundable but transferable to a spouse or family member.
No separate consultation is required. At your first visit each year for a particular injection, we perform a brief Good Faith Exam, which is included in the price and takes about ten minutes. After that, return visits are quick.
It depends on the injection. B12 and Lipostat are commonly given weekly to bi-weekly. Vitamin D3 is a depot injection that lasts two to four weeks per shot. Your clinician will recommend the right cadence at your visit based on your goals and any relevant lab work.
Bundles are best if you only want one type of injection without committing to a recurring monthly charge. Memberships are better if you want regular injections plus IV drips, since both tiers cover monthly drips and injections together. Most patients who plan to come back monthly find the membership math more compelling. We will help you decide at your visit.
We ask for at least twenty-four hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows are subject to a $50 fee. Things come up, we understand, just give us as much notice as you can.
