Rai is an in-person wellness clinic in Houston, TX, founded by Ashton Ray, RN. After more than a decade in operating room and IV infusion nursing, Ashton built Rai as the kind of place she had always wanted to send her own patients to: a calm setting where wellness is intentional, preventative, and deeply personal.
It started with the kind of care that changes your mind.
My passion for wellness began with a life-changing moment. After a car accident, I experienced the kind of care that changes the way you see healthcare. The nurses around me were not only skilled, they were genuinely present and compassionate. That experience planted a seed that would later grow into a purpose.
For more than a decade, I have worked as a nurse specializing in the operating room and IV infusion therapy. I have had the privilege of caring for patients in critical and vulnerable moments. Through all of it, I have always felt called to create a space where wellness is intentional, preventative, and deeply personal.
Rai is that space. The kind of clinic I would send a friend to. The kind of care I always wanted to deliver.

A decade of nursing, in your corner.
- Registered Nurse, State of Texas. Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Over a decade of clinical experience. Years of bedside nursing across acute and surgical settings before opening Rai.
- Operating Room specialist. Experienced in surgical nursing, where precision and protocol are non-negotiable.
- IV infusion therapy expert. Specialized training and high-volume experience in venous access and infusion administration.
- Good Faith Exam protocols. Every patient is screened individually before any service is administered.
- Texas physician oversight. Care is delivered under appropriate medical director relationships per Texas regulation.
