What Botox is, briefly.

The Overview

Botox (botulinum toxin type A) is a neuromodulator that temporarily reduces the activity of specific facial muscles. By relaxing the muscles responsible for dynamic lines (the ones that appear with expression), it softens the appearance of wrinkles around the forehead, between the brows, and at the corners of the eyes.

Results typically appear within three to seven days and last three to four months. Treatment takes about fifteen minutes, with no real downtime. Most patients return for maintenance every three to four months.

Horizontal lines across the forehead from raising the brows. Usually treated with eight to twenty units.

Frown Lines

The vertical lines between the brows (the eleven). Usually treated with twenty to twenty-five units.

Crow's Feet

Lines at the outer corners of the eyes from smiling. Usually treated with eight to twelve units per side.

Combination

Most patients treat two or three areas in one visit. Total units typically run thirty to fifty per session.

Standard tier per-unit pricing at Rai will be $12 per unit. A typical thirty-unit treatment runs $360, and a full forehead-frown-crow's-feet combination usually runs $480 to $600. Your clinician confirms the total cost before any product is placed.

Members receive fifteen percent off all aesthetic services beyond what is included in their tier. We will likely add a Botox-specific membership tier once aesthetics is established, since most patients return every three to four months.
